'Kids 0–2. Birth and Parenting in Ukrainian Realities' is a book about questions parents could face during babies’ first months and years.
I was working on a cover and eighteen slightly ironic comic frames that support each book's chapter. The approach was to create simple sets and characters so readers could relate to the stories about challenging or confusing situations but with smiles on their faces.
'Let's just give each third medicine from a list'
'I am so desperate, but visiting a psychiatrist scares me.'
'It's scarier to leave you depressed.'
1. Honey, please relax!—I am afraid if I do, there will be another child.
2. But why couldn't we give him a pacifier?—Mom, what about earplugs?
3. It's so difficult to decide whether I want to save the planet or my mind.
4. Dear, I am in a hurry. Shall we just smear all at once on the floor?
5. Finally, I found a good nanny and came back to work.—But a nanny can't replace a mom!—Yeah, my salary is too low for that.
